Equipment

MESI mTABLET ABI/PWV the ankle-brachial index and pulse wave serve to determine the condition of arteries, especially in the lower limbs

– automatic device for measuring ankle-brachial index (ABI) and pulse wave (PW)
– by measurement, we determine the risk of atherosclerosis (clogging and narrowing of arteries, especially due to fat deposition in the vessel walls). Atherosclerosis gradually leads to peripheral artery disease of the lower limbs (clogging of the arteries of the lower limbs). With this simple, non-invasive, and painless ABI/PW measurement, we can predict the likelihood of a heart attack and stroke. The examination is particularly beneficial for high-risk patients (smokers, diabetics, elderly people) in whom the early stage of lower limb artery clogging (and also other arteries in the body) is often asymptomatic
– the advantage of our device is its completely wireless design, which allows us to perform the examination even in the patient’s home environment, or in social care homes

MESI mTABLET ECG ECG examination – electrical activity of the heart serves to detect and monitor various cardiovascular diseases

– automatic device for non-invasive measurement of the heart’s electrical activity equipped with a vacuum electrode system that senses electrical potentials from the body surface
– ECG examination (electrocardiography) is used in daily practice for preventive check-ups, preoperative examinations, in pregnant women, diabetics, patients treated for cardiovascular diseases, hypertensives (patients treated for high blood pressure) and patients treated for lipid metabolism disorders, as well as in patients with specific difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases (e.g., diagnosis of myocardial infarction or pulmonary embolism, etc.). ECG examination is also beneficial in cases of electrolyte imbalances (potassium, calcium) or overdose/underdose of certain medications
– our device is portable, so we can perform ECG examinations even at the patient’s home

Wireless Ultrasound ProMedIQ CLP8 – Sonostar Probe-C rapid preliminary ultrasound examination of vessels, abdomen, heart, lungs, etc. in acute or suddenly occurring changes in health status

– wireless portable POCUS (Point-of-Care-Ultra-Sound) ultrasound scanner with image visualization via iPad
– POCUS is a special type of non-invasive instrumental examination performed by a doctor with a special ultrasonographic probe. This examination is primarily intended for a quick preliminary examination in acute or suddenly occurring changes in health status, such as thrombosis (clotting) of lower limb veins, breathing disorders, or abdominal pain. These are conditions where rapid differential diagnosis is needed directly in the general practitioner’s office or at the patient’s bedside, e.g., for immobile patients or in social care institutions. The result of the examination serves as a basis for deciding whether to send the patient for further examination without delay or whether the diagnosis can be completed in the office and treatment started without unnecessary referral of the patient to another workplace. POCUS does not replace ultrasonographic examination performed by a radiologist; its role is to quickly identify the cause of the patient’s problem directly in the office or in the patient’s home environment

BOSO TM-2450PC A blood pressure Holter is an ambulatory blood pressure monitor that records 24 hours of blood pressure measurements in the patient’s home environment

– a device for 24-hour ambulatory monitoring and recording of blood pressure values, also known as BP Holter (blood pressure holter)
– The BP Holter is considered one of the most objective methods for measuring blood pressure to diagnose and control the treatment of high blood pressure. In a clinical setting, many patients have higher blood pressure values due to stress (white coat syndrome), which is why 24-hour blood pressure monitoring in the patient’s home environment during a normal day is suitable for objective assessment. The blood pressure holter also plays an indispensable role in diagnosing nocturnal hypertension or nocturnal blood pressure drops, especially in older patients, in diagnosing syncopal states, in patients with fluctuating blood pressure values, or in resistant hypertension, when the patient does not reach target blood pressure values despite treatment during home measurements. It is a non-invasive examination. The cuff on the arm inflates at pre-set intervals and measures blood pressure. The values are recorded in a small device connected to the cuff by a cable. The device is worn by the patient, either suspended or attached to the body, or to the cuff.

Exdia TRF Plus blood test directly in the clinic for the diagnosis of acute cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, as well as inflammatory bacterial vs. viral diseases

– multiparameter immunoassay analyzer utilizing the innovative Time-Resolved Fluorescence (TRF) method, providing quantitative and qualitative analysis in the field of POCT (Point of Care Testing)
– We use the device for rapid diagnosis from blood or stool directly in the clinic, especially in situations where we need immediate results (within 5-15 minutes depending on the type of test). With Exdia TRF Plus, we are able to test for antibodies against COVID-19 infection (COVID-19 Ag), occult blood in stool (iFOB), inflammatory process parameters for rapid differentiation of bacterial infection in the body (CRP and PCT), and cardio-specific markers: NT-proBNP as a marker of heart failure, Troponin I as a marker of acute myocardial infarction, D-Dimer as a marker of acute venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

MicroINR analyzer rapid blood drop test provides information on blood clotting

– portable analytical device for determining clotting time from a drop of blood
– We use the device to assess how long it takes for blood to clot. In cases of blood clotting abnormalities, patients may have a tendency towards bleeding, or conversely, towards thrombosis (the formation of blood clots). The use of this device is indispensable for monitoring oral anticoagulant therapy with warfarin (a medication we use to prevent the formation of blood clots in vessels). The result is available in the clinic within 2-3 minutes.

QuikReadGO from a drop of blood, we determine if antibiotics are needed for inflammatory diseases, and from stool, we test for occult bleeding

– fully automatic device for quantitative and qualitative measurement of occult blood in stool and inflammatory processes in the body from a drop of blood or a stool sample
– The device is extremely fast; the result is available in the clinic within 3 minutes. CRP (C-reactive protein) is an acute-phase inflammatory protein whose blood level significantly increases during a bacterial inflammatory process. A rapid test for determining CRP levels is a valuable tool for the physician in deciding between the necessity of immediate antibacterial therapy (ATB) and potential monitoring of disease progression. CRP assessment is a suitable tool to combat the unnecessary overuse of antibiotics in trivial viral infections, also considering the significant increase in bacterial resistance to antibiotic treatment. The iFOB (immunological Fecal Occult Blood) parameter, commonly referred to as “blood in stool”, is used daily for preventive check-ups, as well as for diagnosing bleeding from the digestive system, e.g., in cases of anemia.

Urilyzer chemical urine analysis directly in the clinic helps us diagnose several abdominal and urinary system diseases

– fully automatic urine analyzer with 11 parameters
With the device, we can objectively evaluate the chemical composition of urine directly in the clinic within 5 minutes and detect the presence of bilirubin, urobilinogen, ascorbic acid, glucose, blood, nitrites, white blood cells, and determine pH and specific gravity. The use of this device is indispensable for the differential diagnosis of abdominal pain, lower back pain, and urination difficulties. Chemical evaluation of urine helps the physician decide on the necessity of immediate antibiotic treatment in case of suspected urinary tract infections.

Optosmart visual acuity, color vision, and whisper test

– LCD optotype serves for qualified examination of visual acuity, color vision, and hearing
– We use the device for examinations to assess health fitness for work (e.g., work at heights), when assessing health fitness for driving a motor vehicle or holding and carrying a weapon and ammunition, and when assessing fitness for performing other professional activities. With the device, we can objectively assess patients’ subjective feeling of worsening visual acuity or hearing.
